We have tried for years to have another but have just found out that isn’t going to happen, so we are now considering adopting. Will our daughter still love this other child as if it were a blood sibling? Have you experienced this as a parent or as a child? Suggestions on how to navigate this?

I have been a single mother since my 6 year old boy was born and have just now met someone and are getting married. We love the fact that we are now going to be a family and can all come together as a celebration but how much do I involve my son in the wedding? I know it is the coming together of a family but it is also our (my fiancée and my) special day. Also is it ok to honeymoon by ourselves or should we include my son?
