School Lunches

I have an 11 year old who keeps coming home with 3/4 of his lunch uneaten. We talked about how important food is for your brain at school and for keeping you healthy etc. but nothing seems to bring about a change. I know it’s not that he doesn’t like the food because he often helps to pick it out.
Any advice or suggestions?

Step Parenting

I’m looking for a great book (or other resource) about step-parenting advice. I have the “For Dummies” book which is good but my situation is a little different than some because the birth mother passed away – it’s just us and the children, full time.

Toddler that wakes up too early…

My toddler goes to sleep at nap time and at bed time very well. He naps about 2 hours and sleeps from 7pm until 5:30am (10.5hrs) which is totaling 12.5 hrs. We would love him to have any extra 1 hour of sleep in the morning.. it would be good for his morning fatigue as well as his parent’s . Does anyone have any suggestions? Will he wake up at the same morning time if we put him down later?

How do we help our daughter love an adopted child as if it were a blood sibling?

My husband and I have 1 beautiful little girl who has just started school. We have tried for years to have another but have just found out that isn’t going to happen, so we are now considering adopting. Will our daughter still love this other child as if it were a blood sibling? Have you experienced this as a parent or as a child? Suggestions on how to navigate this?

Twin Girls BF confused them

Ok we have a HUGE drama in our home at the moment. We have twin 17 year old daughters Sarah and Jane. Sarah has a boyfriend. Just the other day her boyfriend confused Jane for Sarah and kissed her hello, and of course Sarah walked in at the time. Sarah now hates her boyfriend and isn’t talking to Jane. You can feel the tension when you walk in the house. What can I do?

How do I go anywhere or do anything with quads? I can’t fit 4 baby seats in one car and I can’t fit 4 babies in one stroller. My husband is at work all day. How do I even go grocery shopping?
