Sears Club Points – What Would You Buy?

Remember going to the candy store with $1.00 in your hand?

Remember walking around in circles not knowing where to spend it – there were just too many choices?

That is what it’s like when spending Sears Points.  There are so many different areas and cool things to choose from – one can circle the store weighing all the options.

Sears Club PointsThis past weekend, I felt a bit like a shopaholic. I looked at chairs, a dresser, bedroom decor, sheets, kids clothing, mommy clothes, jewelery, shoes (kids and mommy), makeup and unmentionables (undies). What the heck? How is a girl supposed to prioritize and choose?

I much prefer shopping in person over the internet. I don’t know when the switch happened – but I get my alone time when shopping – so I like to milk it for all its worth. I walk for ages looking, thinking, pondering and take forever to make a purchase. I drive sales people nuts. I do have to mention – Deanna.

I don’t know if you follow my musings for MomBiz owners over at - but one of the things I train our gals on is not selling to sell. Yup.  You heard me.

Deanna was at the Sears Home store - she came over  and offered to help my husband and I with anything.  She then directed us to the bed frames we were looking for – and gave us some pointers about what to think about when it came to beds.  Very helpful. We then started talking about everything from country homes, to her job, to everything else under the sun.  She was simply fantastic.  If any Sears folks are reading this post – she needs a raise.

Deanna single handed ensured my husband and I will be loyal to buying from her when we are ready to make the purchase.  By her not pushing and selling us but instead getting to know us personally- she took the pressure off and made it a very pleasurable buying experience. We will return.
