My son has his first wobbly tooth. Is it ok to pull them out? Or should you let them fall out by themselves?

  1. I was always one to pull them out so that’s what we tried to do with my son’s first wobbly one. We pulled and he screamed We thought it was almost out and tried again and he ended up crying for the next half an hour. We felt terrible for hurting him, we really thought it was right near falling out, it felt so loose. Needless to say we never tried to pull another one out again.

  2. It’s really a matter of preference. My son didn’t want to pull his out at all first time round. But once he saw there was money involved from the tooth fairy he was all in for ripping them out as soon as possible!

  3. I took my son to the dentist with his first wobbly tooth since it seemed wobbly forever but just didn’t seem to come out. I asked him what to do and he said leave it, it will come out eventually when it is ready.
