rainy days with a toddler

What do you all do on a rainy day with a toddler? I just feel so claustrophobic stuck inside all day with him

Arts and crafts. Grab glue, paint, glitter, toilet rolls, pencils, paper, colouring books, pipe cleaners, wool – you name it. Grab it all together and do some arts and crafts. If you are not the creative type either go buy a craft book or just google ‘craft ideas for kids’ – you’ll have more things to do then you have time for one just one rainy day.

We have a cupboard full of board games – monopoly, cards, scrabble, pictionary, jigsaw puzzles, hungry hippos… the list goes on. They’re great fun and they are made for just that – rainy days

We love to cook in our house! We’ll make yummy banana muffins, choc chip cookies or whatever else sounds yum. It’s a lot of fun, it has a yummy ending and your kids learn how to cook.
