First Tooth

My baby girl just got her first tooth. I know this may sound silly but do I brush it?

    It can be really hard to get in those little mouths! I went to the dentist when my son got his first tooth and asked him what to do because my son would just bite the toothbrush and wouldn’t let in there. He told me I could use a wash cloth to rub around the tooth and remove any plaque.

    A tooth is a tooth. Keep it clean or it will get holes.

    Do brush it but use a soft-bristled baby brush and babies toothpaste – it has more calcium and other important ingredients you don’t find in normal tooth paste.
