I have twins – a girl and a boy. I found my girl was keener to toilet train then my boy so I trained her first. My boy didn’t seem real interested till he saw that she got to wear big girl undies and got all this attention and praise so then he was keen to give it a go and learnt very quickly. Use that sibling rivalry to your advantage.
That’s up to you really. When it came to my boys I trained them together. It was fun for them cause they got to have sword fights with their wee – yes little boys are rather funny little creatures. So they actually looked forward to going to the toilet together, but left quite a mess for me to clean up.
It can depend on your boys. Are your twins very alike? Mine were very different, one seemed far more mature then the other and was ahead in most milestones such as toilet training. Just treat your twins as you would any two children you have – if one is ready for something then teach that one, just because they are twins, even identical twins, does not mean they are identical people.
