Bully at school
What do I do when I can’t stand one of my son’s friends? They are both 7 years old, and my son is such a sweet heart and he seems to like this other boy at school, but this boy isn’t particularly nice to my son. My son has other friends as well but I just don’t understand why he tolerates this other boy’s rudeness and bad behaviour. What can I do?
Ask your son why he likes this other boy. I found when I asked my son in a similar situation he told me that the other boy was a friend of his friend, so he was being nice so he didn’t upset his real friend.
I tried to encourage my son away from the problem kid in his class. I also told the teacher so he could keep an eye on them.
My daughter is in that situation at school. When I asked her about it she said she found the girl annoying but she still enjoyed her company. Just to be sure I made sure she knew that it wasn’t right the way the other girl spoke to her and gave her some different things to say when the situation arose.
