Ear Infection
Hi,
My little one has her first ear infection. After just a day on antibiotics she has perked up.
How long should I keep her home and away from other kids?
I go back to work very soon and need her to get used to day care.

I’m not a doctor, but as a mother, a day is a little too soon I think even though she has perked up. As long as she shows no discomfort or irritability after a couple of days, I think she could get back into the norm mode. As for going to work, no worries, as I’m sure you’ll be fine back it at and your little one will love the daycare…it MAY take a little effort at first, but it’ll all WORK ;D out…:D
I would think that as long as your child doesn’t have diarrhea and isn’t vomiting and is acting like their normal self, they could return to daycare. I’m not a doctor but I have 2 young children who have been through nursery school.
When my son got ear infections it always started with a fever, so I kept him home 24 hours after the fever broke.
