Review and Giveaway: Just For Me Personalized CDs

“ME, me, me ,me me” said my daughter excitedly as she pointed to the CD player. She started jumping up and down and looking at me then, she started giggling and dancing. She was listening to her personalized CD, courtesy of justforme.com, and had just realized the singer had actually sung her name within the song. It was priceless. And where was the video so that I could capture this precious moment? Out of batteries.

Justfor me.com has saved my sanity. I love singing with my kids, really I do. And I love that they are so interested in music. Really, I am. But how many times can one listen to the same songs without reaching for a stiff drink? When I received the CD, I was a little skeptical because it had all of our old favorites on it. You know, those songs that are sung again and again? And again? And …. you get the idea.

Well I couldn’t have been more thrilled when I realized the old favorites were not only personalized with my children’s names in them… but they also were spiced up with new lyrics to help teach about the alphabet, colors, transportation and some different languages. Brilliant. My kids were a little surprised and confused the first time they heard the variations, but they are catching on quickly and, loving it.
